Company History

In 1900 Jacob Brenner opened a small tin shop in Fond du Lac with one goal in mind - to build the best coal and wood burning furnaces available anywhere. This was the beginning of Brenner's Uncompromising Mettle - a quality not only reflected in our products, but in our people.

Over the decades the product line shifted to transport tanks and our company grew. Brenner Tank and our customers have benefited from the flexibility that being a family-owned company provides. Above all Brenner has remained responsive to the needs of our customers, focusing on safety, quality and product innovation in every generation of tank we produce.

In August 2001, Peterson Industries, another family-owned Wisconsin- based company, acquired Brenner Tank. Peterson Industries considered Brenner a company with a similar vision and mission to their own.

In June 2007, Walker Group Holdings LLC acquired Brenner. Brenner's unparalleled reputation for quality in the stainless steel chemical and aluminum petroleum tank manufacturing industry was a perfect complement to Walker's existing strengths. And, as part of Walker Group, Brenner customers were able to benefit from the combined efficiencies of the companies.

Today Brenner Tank LLC stands as an example of a successful company, made so by the uncompromising mettle of our management, employees and our customers.
